Collection: Wabi Sabi series

Wabi Sabi (侘寂) is a traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is the acceptance of transience and impermanence, the appreciation of imperfection and simplicity.

The Japanese zen garden is characterized by curves and asymmetry. Through rocks, sands, water and plants being placed in an asymmetrical way, peace and calmness breeze around.

I sketched zen gardens in my work to embrace this aesthetic value.
